In 1977, a judge in Seattle, Washington decided to ask local volunteers to work as advocates for abused and neglected children who passed through his courtroom. Decades later, the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) program has expanded nationwide, including 72 divisions in Texas alone.
CASA of Red River is a volunteer-driven charity that provides advocacy for abused and neglected children in our area. Larsonfest proudly donates event proceeds to the charity every year and helps promote involvement with the program.
